Nancy (Odin) McIntyre died peacefully on April 21, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late James L. McIntyre, her high school sweetheart. Nancy was the daughter of the late Louise (Hofer) Odin and Clifford A. Odin, born in New Britain, CT on April 29, 1925. She grew up in West Hartford, CT and graduated from Hall High School, Class of 1943. Nancy and Jim were married in 1947, after her graduation from Mary Washington College. Together, they raised three loving and devoted daughters.
Nancy and Jim were instrumental in the formation of the West Hartford Land Trust with their donation of the first parcel, to help protect the Trout Brook Watershed.
