Rosalie Thompson, 88, of Virginia, passed away at 8:12 a.m. on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Heritage Manor South in Beardstown. She was born October 24, 1928 in Havana, to Lloyd C. and Lillian (Copenbarger) Thompson. She was married to Howard Richard for 37 years and then to Donald Newcomer for 10 years.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by children, Linda Anderson, Donald (Michele) Newcomer, Julia Dodd, Stuart (Doriane) Newcomer and Darian Richard as well as eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Geraldine, Donna, Karen and Ellen. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Brenda, and siblings, Sonny, Sandra, Bob, Larry, Margo, Ronnie, Dwight and Genevieve.
