Mark A. Vickers Sr., 57, of Tarentum, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Harrison Township, after a lengthy illness. He was born Aug. 23, 1958, in Jeannette, a son of the late John J. Vickers Sr. and Marion McCready Vickers, and lived most of his life in the local area. He worked odd jobs, as he was disabled. Survivors include three daughters, Jamie Ganss (Matthew), of Harrison Township, Heather Kusbit (Jeremy), of Springdale, and Markie L. Vickers, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a son, Mark A. Vickers Jr. (Brittane), of Lower Burrell; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Troy Vickers, of Tarentum, Tony McPeak (Frances), of Freeport, Paul McPeak, of Brackenridge, and Christopher McPeak, of Indianapolis, Ind.; and five sisters, Sherry Puzakowski (Butch), of Cranberry Township, Joy Gravelle (Tom), of Verona, Hope Vickers, of Tarentum, Kelly Vickers, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Lucia Vickers, of Tarentum. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Harry, Oliver, Adam, Patrick, Frank, Kerry and John Vickers Jr.; and a sister, Faith Vickers. The family has requested that there be no public visitation and all services will be private. The funeral service is under the direction of the KRYNICKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 1007 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, PA 15065. Condolences maybe made at www.krynickifh.com.
