Mrs. Toler was born in Beaufort County on August 11, 1940 to the late Willie Thomas Roberson and Julia Manning Roberson. On June 10, 1972, she married Wilbur Blade Toler who preceded her in death on August 25, 1999. She was a lifelong member of the DAV Auxiliary and a member of Snowd Branch Church of God. She was a charter member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Mrs. Toler worked at Walmart as a clerk for 12 years, she also worked for Mom’s Grill, Donnelley Marketing, BBQ Express, Mr. Ed’s, Washington Garment and in childcare.
Survivors include her two sisters, Helen R. Pinkham of Bath, Mary Davis of Bayboro; a brother, W.T. Roberson and wife Faith of Washington; a granddaughter, Amanda Swain, and a son-in-law, Douglas Swain.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Dianna Cooper Toler, three half-brothers, Ronald Roberson, Curtis Alfred Roberson, Billy Keel Roberson; three sisters, Marie Dixon, Julia Ward, Josephine Morris; two half-sisters, Sally Roberson and Rhonda Rowe.
