Steve was the son of Earl Frederick Parrish and Maryann County WV. He loved his paw paw's cabin and after he became a welder he married Malinda Lou Crimm-Parrish RN,BSN. They resided in Pittsburgh,Pa his wife's hometown. They had four beautiful children. He loved them all very much and was a hardworking business owner and hand built with his wife and children a five bedroom home. In 2001 due to many unforseen tragic events he closed his business and moved his family to Charleston,WV to start over. He loved Jesus Christ, his children and his family. He loved to weld and was one of the top stick welders in Pittsburgh,Pa where he put up many 1-8 story buildings as and ironworker/welder. He loved country music, he always had a spark and twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes. He was genuine to the core and loved by all who knew him. He lit up the room at any social gathering and loved a good sarcastic joke or gag. He was tragically killed by a tractor trailer driver with road rage coming home from work with lumber for his three son's and one daughter's tree house at the Westmoreland Exit bridge of I79N, the day after the 911 USA World Trade Center bombings at 7:03pm. He was a complete organ donor and he gave the gifts of vision to two West Virginians and He helped heal the wounds of some of the burn patients' through his gifts of muscle, and other tissues, after the 911 bombings. He was honored at the 'wall of leaves' in Pittsburgh, PA. His wife, children, and parents were present. He was cremated and Mindy kept his ashes until his one year anniversary of returning home to Jesus, at which time he was buried in three separated spots. His urn and the majority of his remains were buried under a Pin Oak tree, Parrish hill cemetery. He loved trees and he and his wife Mindy always had a joke. His grandchildren would climb in his branches. He prayed with his wife and children often. They made one promise every night to each other as a family "Meet Me At The Gate". John 3. He and his family ask that same thing of anyone now or in our generations to come read this. Accept Jesus Christ as your personal risen Lord and Savior today ask his forgiveness of your sins and he will help you through all the rest. Stay in a church that is a King James Version of the bible. Remember the 'real' church is YOU. You are the temple and Jesus lives in you if you will only accept him and his holy spirit. Make Steve,Mindy,Joshua,Garrett,Cattarina, and Tucker Parrish a promise. One Promise, do whatever it takes through Christ to Meet Us At The Gate. We will all be waiting. Steve and Mindy were soulmates in Christ. She to this
