She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Allen Bennett; son, Bruce Wayne Bennett; parents, Ernest and Helen Pipkin; sisters, Lucille Wilson, Joanne Wilson, Linda Sue Pipkin and Sharon Kay Pipkin; and brothers, Kenny Pipkin and Carl Pipkin.
She is survived by her children, Linda & husband Clif Beebe of Long Lane, MO, Cheryl Allan of Buffalo MO, John & wife Brenda Bennett of Long Lane, MO, and Marty Bennett of Long Lane, MO; her sister, Helen Bobrukiewicz of Buffalo, MO; sisters-in-law, Patty Pipkin of Kansas City, MO and Bethel Pipkin of Harrisonville, MO; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Barbara is known for her unconditional love and understanding. She imparted to her family much wisdom, kindness, gentleness and strength. She has touched many, many lives and will be missed greatly by her family and her friends and all that had the opportunity to know her.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 in the Liberty Cemetery with Pastor Tim Case and Pastor Jennifer Long officiating. Escorts will be Greg Cheek, Kevin Bennett, Ricky Bennett, Phillip Beebe, Jason Armstrong, and Bruce Bennett. Honorary escorts will be Clif Beebe and John Oliver. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heart to Heart. Services are under the care and direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
