Gregory T. Jackson, 70, passed away on May 3, 2020, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA. Greg was born on August 30, 1949, in Lansing, MI the son of Roger and Natalie Jackson. He was a graduate of Sexton High School and Aquinas College. He served in the Army from August 1967 to April 1970. After graduation he worked in the banking industry in Michigan, Louisiana, and ultimately retired from the State of Louisiana. Greg loved racing, from boats on the river to dragsters on the track.

Greg is survived by his wife of 43 years, Joyce Jackson; his daughter, Amanda Smith (Patrick); grandchildren, Jackson and Sally Smith; sisters, Diane Jackson and Sue Horton.

A private graveside service will be held at the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of continued research to finding a cure for Parkinson’s.
