Linda was born on July 22, 1949 in Montgomery County, North Carolina.
On September 19, 1981, she received her degree from Campbell University and went on to teach at The Child Development Center with Montgomery County Schools for 26 years. In addition to teaching, she became the creative director for the family owned floral business due to her sense of style and attention to details. She enjoyed many summers with her family at the Outer Banks. She had a gentle spirit and was a devoted wife and mother to her children.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Maxton and Jane Kearns.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Jordan Williamson Sr,; their two sons Jon Camden “Cam” and Thomas Jordan “T.J”; three grandchildren, Trey, Lani, and Maddox; four sibling’s, Max, Mark (Cat), Tab (Beth), and Breta (Jimmy); plus many cousin’s, niece’s, and nephew’s that she adored very dearly.
The family would like to thank Julie, Cam’s girlfriend, for being her caregiver at home during the past few months and the healthcare worker’s that took very good care of her, as well as the heart team at Duke Heart Center; Dr. Lawrence Crawford, Dr. Michael Blazing, Debra Kohlman-Trigoboff NP, and Krystal Wright, PA of Troy Medical Services.
Memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Board of Education, PO Box 427, Troy, NC 27371 for school supplies.
A private family service will be held in the near future at the Southside Cemetery in Troy, NC.
