Gerald E. Foster, age 74 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born on September 10, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Carl & Julia (Buschman) Foster. Mr. Foster attended the Ohio State University and was a graduate of the University of Dayton with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education. He was a Computer Systems Manager for the F16 at WPAFB with over 20 years of service. He taught music at West Carrollton City Schools for 11 years, and was an Insurance Agent & Manager for Prudential Insurance Co. in Kettering. He directed and played in the Centerville Community Band; he also played tuba for the Miami Valley Symphony and attended Holy Angels Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Nancy (Malone) Foster, 2 daughters Amy N. Foster & Constance E. Ben and husband Daniel C., his brother Robert Foster and wife Sherran, his sister Cynthia Rado and husband Paul, 2 grandchildren Leonardo Gerald Ben & Elysium C. Ben, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery with Deacon Terry Martin
officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton, Oh.
