Kathy Young Robertson, 57, of Lakewood Drive died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at her home. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eaton Funeral Chapel with Pastor James Ward officiating. Burial will be at Rose Cemetery. They request memorials be considered for Heaven Bound Full Gospel Church Building Fund, c/o Mrs. Patricia Ward, 181 Manley Road, Mocksville, NC 27028. Mrs. Robertson was born March 21, 1946, in Cooleemee to Katheryn Kerley Young of Mocksville and the late Wayne C. Young and had been employed with Coach Candle Factory and also had worked with Crown Wood Products and Belts Inc. She was a member of Heaven Bound Full Gospel Church, where she was music director and prayer warrior, enjoyed music, especially singing. She enjoyed bird-watching and shopping. Her favorite pastime was being with her family. Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, Gary Robertson of the home, a sister; Regina Olivia Young (Calvin) Cline of Mocksville; four brothers, Kerley (Joy) Young of Winston-Salem, Jan Young, Steven Young and Kim (Sheila) Young, all of Mocksville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
