Mrs. Emmett was born on June 28, 1917, in Shiloh, a daughter of the late Charlie and Elizabeth Anderson Bonner. She was a homemaker and was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church.
Mrs. Emmett is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Peggy Emmett of Thomaston; a sister, Elsie Hutcheson of Warm Springs; three grandchildren, Lori Saunders, Tracey Emmett and Kristi Pittman; nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Emmett and her daughter, Dianne Power.
