DELORES JEAN NICKELS COLEMAN, 64 years of age of Oakwood, VA, went to her reward on May 3, 2020 at her home following an extended illness. Delores was born May 26, 1955 in Elkhorn City, KY, and was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County. She was of the Christian faith. She was a loyal employee of Vansant Lumber for 25-years until retirement. She suffered for nearly 2-years and was grateful for every day and never failed to thank the Lord for every day she had here on earth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Kenneth Coleman; her parents, James Harvey Jr. and Nell Mullins Nickels and her sister, Donna Deel.
Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted loving caregiver, James Aaron White; 2-Sons: Tracy Wayne (Jennifer Renna) Kinder of Weyers Cave, VA, Scottie Paul Kinder of Vansant, VA; 3-Grandchildren: Chase O’Brien, Justin Caleb and Breanna Michelle Jean Kinder; 2-Brothers: Doris Allen (Norma) Nickels of Patterson, VA, Arnie Ray (Loretta) Nickels of Little Prater, VA; 3-Sisters by love and friendship, Connie Harmon, Sandy Stiltner and Bertha Street; her special nephew, Bradley Nickels.
Extended family include, Robert White, Lisa Davis and Ellen Cordill, as well as other extended family including, Step-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside Services for DELORES JEAN NICKELS COLEMAN will be held privately at Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA, with Pastor Mike Rife (Vansant Church of Christ) and Ronnie Kinder officiating.
