Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Grace (Craven) Koselke Turner, age 90, of Dupont, Indiana entered this life on January 24, 1930 in Hammond, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late Charles Victor and Mary Clara Davis Craven. She moved to Schereville, Indiana in 1942, and attended St. Michael's Grade School, Dyer High School, and graduated from Bishop Noll High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to James Koselke in 1949 and lived in Lansing, Illinois. This union of 25 years was blessed with daughters, Carol, Deborah and Shirley. In 1991, she was united in marriage to Cletus Eugene "Gene" Turner in Madison, Indiana. They moved to Dupont, Indiana, and wintered in Sebring, Florida. Mildred was an excellent seamstress, making wedding gowns and other clothing. She loved to quilt and made so many that you could not even count them all. She loved to share her quilts with others and gifted many to her family. She was a gracious homemaker, enjoyed camping, fishing, being with her family and friends. Millie as she was known passed away suddenly at home on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 3:50 p.m. with her husband at her side.

Millie will be missed by her loving husband of 27 years, Cletus "Gene" Eugene Turner of Dupont, Indiana; her daughters, Deborah Perman and her husband, Dennis of Honey Creek, Wisconsin, Shirley Forsythe of De Motte, Indiana; her step daughters, Brenda Phegley and her husband, Michael of Evansville, Indiana, Glenna Henkenmeier and her husband, Lynn of Louisville, Kentucky, Marsha Szotek and her husband, Paul of Valparaiso, Indiana, Lana Telschow of Destrehan, Louisiana, Lynne Slivka and her husband, Virgil of Wilmette, Illinois; her grandchildren, James Cornell, Noah Foresythe, and Brandy Seip; her great grandchildren, Angel and Abigail Seip; her sister, Cecilia O'Donnell of Notre Dame, Indiana; also numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Victor Craven, died December 31, 1985, her mother, Mary Clara Davis Craven, died May 1, 2005, her sisters, LaVerne J. Craven, died April 11, 2011, Lois Marie Craven Novak,, died February 2, 2012, Velma E. Craven Krawczyk, died July 10, 1992, and Josetta Carol Craven Robinson, died December 18, 2002, her daughter, Carol Jean Mosconi, died May 6, 2012, her step daughter, Suzee Bates, and her grandson, Michael Hargrove.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at 1:00 p.m., by Rev. Skip Napier at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will be private in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road in Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION (Note: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, restrictions due apply)
Friends may visit Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
