He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He was employed by Con Agri for 42 years, enjoyed 27 years of retirement. Don enjoyed many outdoor actives, woodworking and playing cards. They spent many years traveling the U.S. and Canada and Mexico and 21 winters in Fort Walton Beach Fla where they had many friends.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Jackie; sons: Michael and David; daughters-in-law Jill and Deborah; grandchildren: Shane (Stephanie), Haley, Andrew Corey, Rachel and Emily, two great grandchildren; brother James; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial was at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery
