Scott Michael Bell, 35, of Montgomery, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at his home. He was born May 31, 1972 in Aurora, Illinois the son of Robert J. and Beverly A. (Rice) Bell. Scott was a site steward for the State of Arizona protecting archeological sites. He was an avid Cubs fan and loved to fish. Scott touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
He is survived by a daughter, Ondrea Bell of Aurora; father, Robert J. Bell Jr. of Florida; mother, Beverly Bell of Montgomery; a brother, Robert (Renee) Bell of Montgomery; paternal grandparents, Dean and Jean Rohman of Marion, IL; nephews, Bobby and Brandon Bell; his niece, Megan Bell; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lewis and Evelyn Rice.
The family will be greeting guests Thursday, July 12, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral services will be held Friday July 13, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow and will be at Riverside Cemetery.
