Jill, 51, of Harrison passed away at home on Monday, April 20, 2020. Jill was the daughter of Frederick Ray Sargent and Judith Francis (Goodwin)Sargent.
Ms. Brooks had resided in Harrison most of her life, moving from Pontiac, Michigan. Jill also lived in Plattsburgh, New York from 2005-2018, moving back to Harrison. Jill enjoyed playing cards, dice, sitting around watching her favorite tv shows, bingo, walking, spending time with her grandchildren and her family and friends. She was known for her kindness and willingness to help anyone needing her assistance.
Surviving Ms. Brooks is one son, Troy Brooks, of Harrison, one daughter Judy Carlton of Harrison, four grandchildren, Susan Carlton of Harrison, Olivia Carlton of Harrison, Mia Brooks of Harrison, Dominique Brooks of Oceana County, Michigan. Four sisters, Joy (Jerry) Schullar of Mio, Michigan, Kathy (Larry) Mroczkowski of Highland, Illinois, Terry (Louis) Marotz of Pontiac, Michigan Tammara (Jerry) Middleton of Coleman, Michigan. Three brothers, James Brooks of Harrison, Joe Brooks, of Harrison and Jeff Brooks of Harrison, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Ms. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Judith Sargent.
