Joe Frank Butler, age 84 of Trezevant, died Saturday, May 2, 2020, after a battle with heart disease. A graveside service for Mr. Butler will take place at 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the Gibson County Memory Gardens near Milan.

Joe was a member of Trezevant Church of Christ. He retired as a construction superintendent for AMP Construction. Joe was an avid golfer and long-time member of Milan Golf and Country Club. His passion was his family, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Cleva Roberts Butler, son, Steven Ray Butler, and daughter, Teresa Butler Climer.

He is survived by his wife Shirley Butler; four children, Lacee Galey (Butch), Shannon Butler (Pam), Kim Riggs (Darren), and John Belew (Angie); ten grandchildren, Lesley Howell (Hunter), Molly Smith (Wayne), Ray Butler (Jenna), Ben Butler (Anna Grace), Will Galey, Haley Riggs, Tori Riggs, Anna Kathryn Belew, Ella Grace Belew, and Jack Belew; five great-grandchildren, Bryer Smith, Nolan Howell, Richlee Howell, Lawson Smith, and Evie Butler; and two sisters, Ann Whitlock (David) and Virginia Burkart (Leland).
