GOSHEN, IN. -- Michael K. Hoover, 67, of Goshen, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Saturday, May 2, 2020, at home. He was born April 1, 1953 in Goshen to Clair and Donnabelle (Garber) Hoover. On November 29, 1997 he married Charlotte Weaver.

She survives along with his father and a sister, Kristine (George, III) Skyrm, Goshen.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A retired computer programmer, Mike worked for Everence Financial. He was a dedicated musician and he enjoyed performing with several different local groups. Mike was a faithful Arsenal football supporter of the English Premier League. He enjoyed traveling, learning new cultures, languages and flavors; and always knew how to make his family laugh.

Private services will be held and burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery, Goshen.
A musical celebration in his memory is planned for later this summer.

Memorial donations may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or College Mennonite Church for the music fund.
