Ray Talbert “Tab” Jordan, of Niagara Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Covington County, Alabama on October 21, 1935, a son of the late Grady and Hattie Esta (Aughtman) Jordan. After graduating from Rawls High School he settled in Niagara Falls.
Tab served his country with great pride in the US Army, 11th Airborne Division from July 1955 until his honorable discharge in July 1963. He was employed at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
He was a longtime member of Niagara Presbyterian Church. He absolutely enjoyed taking care of his beautiful grandchildren, along with his wife, Beverly. He spent many years with his wife and family traveling to Alabama and Florida visiting relatives. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly (Nixon) Jordan; dearest children, Melanie Jordan; Aimee Pearson and Anissa Galbraith; cherished grandchildren, Laren S. Jordan; Michael J. Pearson; Jordan R. Pearson; Megan M. Galbraith; Owen M. Galbraith and Tyler B. Pearson; siblings, Sue Carol Knight and Larry M. Jordan; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Bobby M. Jordan in October.
Funeral services will be held privately for the family in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC., with interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
