Graveside services for Mr. James Manuel Whitlock, 74 of Anniston, will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 4th 2020, at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary. Gray Brown-Service Mortuary will be assisting at the visitation services for Mr. Whitlock with meeting the 10 person gathering order. We welcome family and friends to attend visitation 10 individuals at a time inside our facility. Mr. Whitlock, born July 4, 1945 to James Edward and Sarah Hunt Whitlock, went to his Heavenly Home on April 29, 2020. He leaves behind his mother, Sarah Daugherty, two sons, J.R. Whitlock, James Manuel Whitlock Jr. (Suzi) two daughters, Vicky Diane Fowler (Billy), Bonnie Renee Powell (David) 6 sisters, Jewell Gentry (Larry), Vivian Eargle, Kathy Henderson, Belinda Allinder, Rebecca Wheeler (Jeff) and Elaine Hubbard; sister-in-law, Robin Whitlock; several grandchildren and grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Edward Whitlock, grandparents, Jim and Nellie Hunt and James Manuel and Carrie Whitlock, brother, Lewis Carl Whitlock. Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. Mr. Whitlock loved fishing, selling cars, playing guitar, selling antiques and “junk hunting”. But his great passion was preaching God’s word. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
