Clifton G. Williams, age 82, of Palestine, Texas died Wednesday in a Palestine Hospital. Burial at Liberty Cemetery at Bradford community, Texas was under the direction of Bailey & Foster Funeral Home of Palestine. He was born in Bradford on May 2, 1911, to Chesley Graham and Cora Pickle Holland Williams. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of the Crockett Road Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Leta Louise Stovall Allen Williams of Palestine; daughters, Ida Frances Williams-Albrecht, and Linda Knous; sons, Ralph Williams, Jimmy Williams, Clifton G Williams, Jr., Dan "Carroll" Allen, and Jimmy Allen; sister, Evelyn Carroll; brother, Paul Williams; twenty grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
