Jenny Catherine Reed, 80, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. She was the widow of Harold E. Reed.

Born in Fleming County on April 17, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Hildreth Garr Johnson and Audrey Ross Johnson.

Jenny is survived by her son, Harold Wayne Reed and wife Barbara; her granddaughter, Bobbi Elmore; her great grandchildren, Dustin Beatty and Skylar Elmore; her sisters, Gracie Hardymon and Lena (Robert) Harmon; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members.

In addition to her husband Harold and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Hilly Johnson; her brother-in-law, Burgess Hardymon; her aunt, Mable Johnson; and her uncle, Rev. Harley Johnson.

Private arrangements are being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Jenny will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
