Mr. James Alton Foster, age 77 of the Swearengin community passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at his residence.
A private graveside service will be held for his family at New Prospect Cemetery in Swearengin.
Mr. Foster is survived by his wife of 60 years, Grace Foster; his three daughters, Gracie (Danny) Phillips, Lisa Goins and Mechelle (Jeff) Gorham; 10 grandchildren, Amanda Evans, Amberly Foster, James Foster, Monica Hancock, Daniel Phillips, Meagan Crisafulli, Kaitlyn Goins, Alisha Stephens, Tiffany Johnson, Emily Smith; and 19 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Clifford Foster; mother, Bertha Guffey; and brother, Clifford T. Foster.
