Billy G. Reed, 65, Valley Park, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by family.

Billy was born and raised in Valley Park. He retired in 2017 as a truck driver for SuperValu. Billy loved working in his yard, collecting scrap, working on cars, fishing and hunting. He was a hard working, kind, gentle man, who loved his family and his community. There wasn't a car that drove by that he didn't smile and wave to. Billy was a friend to everyone and there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for you. Billy will be missed by his family, his Hardee's crew, and his town.

Billy was preceded in death by his father Bill, and mother Doris. Billy is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patty; two sons, Ronnie Reed (Tiffany), St. Clair; Kevin Reed (Erin) Imperial; and two daughters, Kim Blyzes (Jason), Hillsboro; Alicia Alley, Valley Park. He was a proud grandfather of 9, Riley, Dylan, and Carter Blyzes, Madelyn Kientzy, Catelyn Altman, Grasyn and Adisyn Alley, and Jack and Ella Reed. Dear brother of Dave Reed (Kathy), Bet Webb (Dave), Tom Reed, and Sam Reed (Gail). Dearest half brother to Patricia Davis (late husband Donald), and Raymond Nickel. Loving uncle, neighbor, and friend to many.

Billy's legacy will now be carried on in the hearts of those he touched.
