Mitchell O'Quinn Moore, 83, of Yorkville, Tennessee died on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at his residence in Yorkville, Tennessee.

Born Thursday, September 24, 1936 in Dyer, Tennessee, he was the son of the late J. W. Moore and the late Erma Dodson Moore. Mr. Moore was an engineer with the Tennessee State Highway Department. He was a member and secretary at Nebo Church of Christ.

Given current national conditions and the family's concern for the health and well-being of others, graveside services for Mr. Moore will be held at Yorkville Cemetery in Yorkville, Tennessee. Officiating this service will be Bro. Wesley Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Edith Miller Hassell Moore of Yorkville, Tennessee; three sons, Randal Moore (Monica) of Friendship, Tennessee, Paul Alan Moore of Dyer, Tennessee and Tim Hassell (Sylvia) of Yorkville, Tennessee; one daughter, Tammy Hassell Zarecor (Mack) of Yorkville, Tennessee; one sister, Jennie Moore Davis of Dyer, Tennessee; five grandchildren and three great- grand children;

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lynn Moore, Glynn Moore and James F. Moore.

Honoring Mr. Moore as pallbearers will be Timothy Hassell, Andrew Zarecor, Chad Zarecor, Gene Allmon, Jim Goodman and Nelson Grimes. Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Jetton, Stanley Davis, Jim Moore, Danny Moore and Dwayne Dodson.
