Gail grew up in Starlight, PA, and graduated from Hancock Central School in 1953. She married Norman Allen on October 25, 1959. After residing in Starlight for 50 years of her life, Gail and Norman moved to Thompson, PA, where they remained for 30 years. He predeceased her after 60 years of marriage on March 13, 2018.
Gail was a housewife her entire life. She was a member of the Buckingham Baptist Church in Starlight, PA. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, ice fishing, gardening, music and bingo. She loved socializing and organized the Allen reunions each year and was very proud of that.
Surviving are 4 children, Sharon (Stan) Czubowicz, Carolyn Ainsworth, Kathleen Allen, and Robert (Stacie) Allen, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 sister, Joann Kraft. Gail was predeceased by her son, Norman Mark Allen, 1 brother, who was a Vietnam Veteran, Roland D. Dumond, and 2 sisters, Betty Cobb and Darlene Knapp.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate the life of Gail.
