Armando Garcia Rodriguez, 62, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2020, in Baytown.

Armando was born February 2, 1958 in Mexico, to parents; Adolfo and Mercedez Garcia Rodriguez, and has resided in Baytown for the past 37 years. He received his Doctor of Theology from Vision University and was the Pastor for Emanuel Church. He also enjoyed barbecues, garden, the outdoors, Astros baseball, traveling, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Sanjuana Avendano Rodriguez, Evelin Hernandez and husband Jesus, Eunice Rodriguez, and Edna Hernandez and husband Heron, sisters: Margarita Valdez and Yolanda Rodriguez, brothers: Adolfo Rodriguez, Alfredo Rodriguez, and Jose Alberto Rodriguez, grandchildren: Ofelia Rodriguez, Damen Hernandez, Skyler Hernandez, Nathan Hernandez, Selah Hernandez, Hosea Hernandez, and Emery Hernandez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2020, at the Emanuel Church with burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Due to current Covid19 restrictions, attendance will be limited at funeral home, church, and cemetery.
