James Edward “Ed” Brumfield, of Creston, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Ed was born March 31, 1943 in Crown City, OH to the late James Emmett and Beulah (Wallace) Brumfield and married the former Wanda Simpson on April 25, 1964. He retired from Morton Salt where he was the Power and Production Supervisor and had made his home in Creston since 1975. Ed was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God in Creston. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and baseball having been a part of his grandson Corey’s travel ball experience.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Norman and Myron and a grandson, Clayton Brumfield.

Burial will be in Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
