Richard served two tours in Vietnam with the Navy Seabees MCB58. He retired from ALCOA in Ops Service after 31 years of service. He was a member of the Boonville American Legion Post #200, Boonville VFW Post #3418, The Forty and Eight, and the Newburgh Masonic Lodge #174.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Lynch; sons, Wendall Lynch; Ryan Lynch (Charise); 2 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald R. Lynch.
A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Skelton Cemetery in Tennyson, Indiana.. Published in Courier Press, May 1, to May 3, 2020.
