Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of many people during her time on this earth. She connected with people through her loving nature, compassionate heart, and her playful personality. Her love for Christ was seen through her love for other people, as well as her daily actions where she consistently lived in service to others. Kathy was a surrogate mom to many, affectionately known as Mama K. She touched lives and hearts deeply. She was fiercely committed to her 3 grandchildren with each one of them holding a special place in her heart. We will always remind them of her love and a phrase she often used, “Bye sweet baby. Jesus loves you, and so does KK”. She will be profoundly missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.
