Kathy Annette Lindsey, a resident of Conway, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020, at the age of 65 after a courageous battle with a brainstem glioma.

Kathy is survived by two children, and their spouses; Dustin and Tasha Lindsey of Greers Ferry, AR; Kelli and Thomas Penn of Benton, AR; three grandchildren, Laiden Lindsey, Tyson Penn, and Briggs Penn; her mother, Kathleen Shuffield; three siblings Wanda (Jim) Rowe, Jimmy (Kay) Shuffield, and Karen (Randy) Spencer and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Lindsey: and her father, Clarence Shuffield.

Kathy was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend. She touched the lives of many people during her time on this earth. She connected with people through her loving nature, compassionate heart, and her playful personality. Her love for Christ was seen through her love for other people, as well as her daily actions where she consistently lived in service to others. Kathy was a surrogate mom to many, affectionately known as Mama K. She touched lives and hearts deeply. She was fiercely committed to her 3 grandchildren with each one of them holding a special place in her heart. We will always remind them of her love and a phrase she often used, “Bye sweet baby. Jesus loves you, and so does KK”. She will be profoundly missed by friends, family, and all who knew her.
