RETIRED PAPERHANGER, ERNEST F. RICE, DIES
Ernest Fletcher Rice, a retired paperhanger, died at 4:30am yesterday at General Hospital. He was 81.
Rice lived with a son, Harry Rice, at 2624 W. Broadway. Two other sons, Will and Foster Rice, also survive, along with 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 8:30am tomorrow at the George L. Manning Funeral Home, 518 N. 26th, and at 9am at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
