Obituary for David Wayne Hardy
David Wayne Hardy, age 67, and long-time resident of Rowlett, TX, passed away on April 29, 2020. After a valiant six-year battle with cancer, he peacefully passed into the arms of his Lord and Savior. He was born March 2, 1953, in Sherman, TX, to Billy Eugene Hardy and Lillian Lou (Leverette) Hardy. David graduated from South Garland High School in 1971 and attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. He was employed at Kraft Foods in Garland until his retirement in 2014. David was a member of St. Phillips United Methodist Church of Garland. His presence will be deeply missed by everyone who loved him.

David is survived by his loving wife: Debbie (Browning) Hardy; sons: Grayson Hardy of Rowlett, TX, and Jeremy Grandstaff and wife Leah of Valencia, CA; daughter: Crystal Anderson of Royse City, TX; grandchildren: Kyler, Brennan, Aiden, Sloane, and Cason; mother: Lillian Hardy of Garland, TX; sisters: Beverly Nalley and husband Mike of Rowlett, TX, and Debra Drake and husband Dan of Paradise, TX; and a host of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father: Billy Hardy; and his grandparents.

A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
