Kelvin Vandy Bryant, son of Calvin and Mallory Bryant, born June 9, 1963 in Washington DC, quietly departed this life Thursday, April 23, 2020. The Bryant family moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1970 where Kelvin grew up. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member. He is a graduate of Jefferson Township High School and served in the U. S. Navy. He is also a graduate of Central State University.

Kelvin was an active and dedicated member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and worked at Montgomery County Child Support Enforcement Agency for over 25 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Bryant.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his mother, Mallory Bryant of Dayton; aunt, Arizona Lockhart of Dayton; sister, Karen (Gerald) Bush and two nephews, Jerald and Jaren, all of Noblesville, IN and a host of devoted cousins, fraternity brothers, and friends.

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the Bryant Family, 4807 Coulson Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45417. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the newly developed Kelvin Bryant Scholarship Fund (Karen Bush-Dayton, Ohio 45417) Donations can be made at any Key Bank nationwide.

Walk-through visitation 9-11 am Monday, May 4, 2020 at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Private family service 11 am-12 pm. Pastor Samuel Winston Jr. officiating. Omega Psi Phi viewing 12-1 pm. Interment West Memory Gardens.
