Samantha Mae Williamson was born April 3, 1941 to Andrew and Rebecca Williamson in Ashland, Alabama. At age 79, she received her wing on Saturday, April 24, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio.

Samantha was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church for over fifty years; and a member of the Houstonan Community choir for many years.

She was a strong woman of faith, would encourage others to never give up, press towards the mark, trust God and continue to pray. Samantha had a heart of gold. She was always willing to lend a helping hand in anyway possible. She was full of wisdom and knowledge, and never judged no one.

Many called her mom and she was also a true Ohio State Buckeyes fan. She retired from First Community Village after twenty-five years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Rebecca Williamson; grandson, Lynden Glover; and brother Clarence Williamson.

Samantha left to cherish her memory, daughters, Djuana and Lisa Williamson; grandchildren, Timothy Jones,II, Djuan Cade, Larenz Glover, and LaVaughn Glover; great-grandchildren, Aubriauna, LaRiah, Loyal, and Ari'belle; aunt, Annie Ruth Knight; special nephew, Andrew Williamson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
