Hazel Inez West, age 86, was born May 8, 1933, and passed away peacefully at her home on April 29th, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her husband Eugene, parents Alvis and Pearlie Howard, step-brother Carl Howard and wife Velda, and son-in-law Charles Socha.
She leaves behind her daughter Janice Socha and son Gary (DiAnne) West. Grandchildren Christopher (Holly) Socha, Natalie (Brett) Valdez, and Sara West. Great grandchildren Braxton and Landon Socha, and Kaylee and Mattie Valdez. Special niece Vola Noah and a host of other relatives and friends.
Hazel professed her faith in Jesus at an early age and was a faithful member of Clouds Memorial Baptist Church in New Tazewell.
Arrangements for Mrs. West will be visitation Friday May 1st from 2 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Saturday May 2nd at 10 AM in Fairview Cemetery. Minister: Rev.
