Janice M. "Leibfried" Ray SHERBURN: A Celebration of Life Services for Janice M. "Leibfried" Ray, 73, of Sherburn, Minnesota, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home Chapel in, Sherburn, Minnesota with Father Larry Brixius officiating. Burial will be in the Sherburn Cemetery. Janice died on Thursday afternoon, October 6, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System, ISJ Hospital in Mankato. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the services at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn.

Janice Marie Ray was born on November 24, 1937 to James and Frances (Gornick) Ray in Jackson, Minnesota. She attended school in Jackson. On December 27, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ronald Leibfried in Jackson, Minnesota. Janice lived in Dunnell, Jackson and Sherburn with her son, Dustin who cared for her. She was employed at the Creamery in Dunnell and at Sperry Univac for many years until they closed. She later worked for TSI in Jackson before retiring for health reasons. On Thursday afternoon, October 6, 2011, Janice was called to her eternal rest at Mayo Clinic Health System-ISJ Hospital in Mankato, Minnesota at the age of seventy-three years. Survivors include her children, Koren (Elwin) Turner of Sherburn, Minnesota, Louise (John) Rehnstrom of Alta, Iowa, James Leibfried of Dunnell, Minnesota, Larry Leibfried of Orange County, California, Lyn (James) Theobald of Sherburn, Minnesota and Dustin Leibfried of Sherburn, Minnesota; eleven grandchildren, Brandon and Ben Danielson, Nick and Paul Turner, Jacob, Amy and Ange Rehnstrom, Trisha Streimer, Jennifer Bohnenkamp, Leah and Lance Eckert; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Ray of Aurora, Minnesota; sister, Anita Elness of Windom, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Albert Dicks of Montevideo, Minnesota and many other relatives. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Annie Leibfried; sister, Frances Dicks; infant brother; brother-in-law, Russ Elness and Ronald Leibfried and other relatives.
