America was born in 1864/1865 to John Nevil Jr and Mary Ann Wallace. She married Joseph Winters Burgett and had three children with him: Frank Everett Burgett, Icy Burgett, and Mayme Burgett. America was living with her parents in Paulding, Ohio, where she lost her battle with Consumption on 12 May 1894.

at the home of her parents, three miles west
of paulding, last Saturday evening. Funeral
services conducted by her pastor Rev Cook-
sey, of Paulding, took place Sunday after-
noon at the Haines school house and inter-
ment in the Cooper cemetery. Mrs. Burget
was in her 29th year and leaves a husband
and three children to mourn her departure.
