The passing of Mrs. Bernice Douglas, age 91, on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Brian Center Southpoint, is being announced by her daughter, Mrs. Magdalene Davis.

Bernice was born in Fair Bluff, North Carolina on August 6, 1928, to the late Frank Strickland and Ethel Fault.

A celebration of Bernice’s life will be held at New Shiloh Holiness Church, 2507 S Alston Ave., Durham, North Carolina 27713 on Friday, September 27th; Family Visitation at 12:00 noon and Life Celebration Service at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Landy G. Void delivering the eulogy.
