Leon Jones, 81, of Cleburne passed away April 30, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born November 15, 1938 in Karnes County, Texas to Francis Ervin and Ida (Retzloff) Jones.

Leon married Pat Ford on March 31, 1962 in Cleburne. Before retiring Leon worked in the health food distribution industry as a maintenance supervisor as well as many years at Cleburne Electric and was member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1961. Leon dabbled in everything from rebuilding Cushman scooters to tractors and of course his 56 Chevy. Leon never met a stranger and enjoyed sharing his stories with everyone. He loved his Calvary Baptist Church family and spending time with them. Most of all having his personal relationship with Jesus which fulfilled his Eternity.

Survived by his wife, Pat Jones, son, Jerry, daughter, Jennifer, his grand children, great-grand children, sisters, Shirley Guinn and Carol Reynolds and other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Francis Jones and mother, Ida Jones.

Interment: Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas...CPFH
