He was born May 18, 1972 in Caldwell County to Michael “Mike” Eugene Greene, Sr. and Sue Benge Greene of Lenoir.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Pope, paternal grandfather, George Greene, Sr., paternal step-grandfather, Lloyd Woodruff; and infant son, Caleb Greene.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Vandella Adams; paternal step-grandmother, Mary Greene; a daughter, Elizabeth Bradley; sister, Michelle Barcenas and husband Ismael; nieces, Hannah Harrison and husband Anthony and Jennifer Barcenas; nephew, T.J. Poarch and wife Alyssa; great-niece, Lily Harrison and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Michael was a wonderful son and a hard worker. He loved his family and friends and loved spending time with them. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held by the family at Poarch Chapel Missionary Methodist Church on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm conducted by Reverend Wallace Smith and Reverend Mike Woody.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
