He was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Long (1967), father Clarence “Carney” Long (1997), mother Mildred “Mickie” Long (1998). He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn Bauman-Long, his brother, Patrick (Kathy) Long, his two children: Mark (Lisa) Long, Sara (Bryan) Wigge, and his 6 grandchildren: Saige (Stephanie) Wigge, Rilee Long, Wil Wigge, Mason Long, Asher Wigge, and Haley Long.
Services to be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lake Twp., 7914 W. Cook Road at 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 26, 2020 with calling 1 hour before service. A dinner will follow the ceremony in the fellowship hall to celebrate Steve’s life and the impact he had on so many through the years.
