In memory of/ Margaret / wife of [sic]/ Esther Kraft/ departed this/ life the 20th/ September 1847/ aged 10 months

Gravesite Details

The inscription on the gravestone is peculiar: the first part (In memory of Margaret wife of) does not correspond to what follow. It appears that the two parts were inscribed at different times and in different styles. Was this a second-hand stone?
