Hazel was born on June 4, 1920, in Bloomfield, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvis and Eulalia (Crain) Parks. Hazel met and married John Harper on January 25, 1940, in Bloomfield. She was a member of several organizations including the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #1451 and the Ladies Auxiliary DAV. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, her dog, Harper and her love for good food. She will be deeply missed by her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her four daughters: Margo, Judith, and husband, Michael, Susan and husband, Greg, Terri; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister: Betty Jo.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, John Harper, parents, three brothers, and granddaughter, Michelle Cotton.
