Terry McKinney Sr., 75, of Mullens went home to Heaven April 18, 2020. Terry worked in the coal mines. He enjoyed fishing. He was not one to sit still. From the time his feet hit the floor he was busy. He took pride in everything. He kept his car and home immaculate. He wouldn’t leave the house until his hair was combed just right. He took care of everyone. If you needed anything all you had to do was ask. He was loyal and loved his family fiercely. He was extremely proud of his two sons.

He was born in 1945 to the late Dewey McKinney (1920-Deceased) and Violet Eastridge-McKinney (1924-Deceased). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda McKinney (Deceased) and Judy McKinney-Hall (Deceased).

Survivors include his sons Terry McKinney Jr. and Donald McKinney; his daughter-in-law Morgan MdKinney; grandson, Jameson McKinney; former wife, Brenda Waycaster-McKinney, to whom he was married to for 22 years; and his sisters, Janie McKinney-Thomas, Phyllis McKinney-Ball, Sandra McKinney-Lingerfelt, and Betty McKinney-Segar.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association. There will be a memorial service at a later date.
