PORT HENRY, N.Y. - Thomas "Turk" J. Boyle, age 73, of Port Henry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3rd 2020 at his home.

Turk was born on November 28th 1946, he was the son of Ralph J. and Margaret M. (Hodskin) Boyle Sr., one of eight children.

He graduated from St. Patrick's School Class of 1963, one of 25 students.

Turk enlisted in the United States Army in 1966, as an Army Infantrymen. He spent much of his military time in Baumholder, Germany.

Upon returning home he went to work as a Mechanic for Velez Marina in Port Henry, N.Y. This is where he developed his love for boating and Lake Champlain.

Turk found his calling, as Foreman for the Village of Port Henry, where he worked for nearly 29 years before retiring.

Turk also dedicated 54 years of community service to the Port Henry Volunteer Fire Department.

He was the beloved husband of Julie Ann (Whitford) Boyle whom predeceased him on May 3rd 1992.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers; Robert "Hobbie" W. Boyle in 2008 and, Ralph "Beefer" A. Boyle in 2005, and one sister; Ann Teresa Boyle in 1956.
