Kenneth L. Wadsworth, 63, of Eden Valley, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. His funeral will be 11:00 am, Saturday, June 29th at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home in New London.

Kenneth was born on September 9, 1949, in rural Spicer, the son of Floyd and Marcella (Helmer) Wadsworth. He grew up and went to rural country school just north of the Old Mill Inn and then attended New London-Spicer High School. He then attended Willmar Vo-Tech where he received a degree as a machinist.

He joined the United States Army and was enlisted in March of 1969 and served in Vietnam, Okinawa and Thailand. He was honorably discharged in November of 1970. He was a member of the Spicer American Legion.

On December 17, 1970, he was united in marriage to Alice Edwards from Watkins, MN, in Sisseton, SD. Following their marriage, they lived near Spicer before moving to Shakopee and returned to the area, settling in Eden Valley in 1980. Kenneth worked as a foreman of Jennie-O Foods and Custom Products in Litchfield.

He enjoyed camping, four-wheeling, and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed the trips to the North Shore and the "family campground" that he developed near Little Falls, where all were welcome to stay.

Surviving are his wife, Alice; children, Alan (and Becky) Wadsworth, Marcie (and Shawn) Dustin; Chad (and Lexi) Wadsworth, Alisha (and Daniel) Radloff; grandson, Tyler Wadsworth and step - grandchildren, Brandon, Shanice, Sheyann and Marques. Also surviving are his siblings, Bill (and Jan) Wadsworth; Ron (and Leann) Wadsworth; Rudy (and Vicky) Wadsworth; Jim Wadsworth; Doug (and Sherry) Wadsworth; Valorie (and Bradley) Fredeen and Terry (and Wendy) Wadsworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brothers, John and Roger.
