Mrs. Terri Pearson Williams, 63, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Saturday, April 25, 2020.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be private in Pinewood Memorial Park.

Terri lived most of her life in the Greenville area. She spent her teenage years in South Carolina, where she was crowned Miss Georgetown and went on to compete in the Miss South Carolina Pageant, and attended the College of Charleston. After moving back to Greenville, she met and married the love of her life, Tommy Williams, and began her working career in the mortgage business. She later spent 20 years working in her husband’s family business before becoming a real estate agent. Terri worked for over 15 years with Aldridge & Southerland Realtors and most recently with The Overton Group. She loved working in real estate and development and had many special relationships with other agents.

Terri believed strongly in community involvement and served as a board member on the Redevelopment Commission, chairman of Pitt County Crime Stoppers, board member on the Falcon Children’s Home for Unwed Mothers program, and was an avid supporter of Greenville Little League. She also co-hosted the radio program, Greenville GRIT. Terri was a longtime member of St. Paul Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she enjoyed singing and directing the youth choir and children’s plays. She loved traveling on numerous trips, enjoyed attending Bill Gaither Concerts, and she especially enjoyed spending time at her happy place in Bayview, near Bath. Her greatest love was spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Shelby Gaskins Pearson.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jesse Thomas “Tommy” Williams, Jr.; children, Jesse Thomas Williams, III (Trey), Jonathan Tyler Williams, Sr. and wife, Corrie Jayne, all of Greenville, and Taylor Williams Braddy and husband, Jeremy, of Beaufort; grandchildren, Cameron Greenway, Jonathan Tyler “JT” Williams, II, Jesse Thomas Williams, IV, and Adalyn Rose Braddy; sister, Rushell Bongiorno and husband, Frank, of Wilmington; brother, Tom Pearson and wife, Becky, of Clermont, FL; several nieces and nephews; and a number of treasured friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Jorge Abdallah and his wife, Sylvia; nurse, Anna Ogle, Dr. Emmanuel Zervos, and close family friend, Wendy Bland for their loving care. The family would especially like to thank Rev. Jonathan Altman and the faithful members of Saint Paul Church for their love and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Falcon’s Children Home through St. Paul Church, 3251 E. 10th Street, Greenville, NC 27858.
