Enrique "Papo" Gonzalez, 71, of Exeter Township, passed away April 24, 2020, in the Reading Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Deborah M. (Woodring) Gonzalez, with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage.
Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Justino and Agracelia (Rodriguez) Gonzalez.
Papo was employed by Aluminum Alloy as welding supervisor for over 20 years. He also previously work for Reading Gray Iron Casting.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed cooking , baseball, wrestling but most importantly spending time with family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Enrique Gonzalez Jr., Reading; and Candina F., wife of Khalil Johnson, Georgia. He is also survived by his sister, Santa Delgado, Puerto Rico; seven grandchildren, Justin Jr., Caceila, Brandon, Evelyn, Payton, Kianah and Ava; five great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Ezekiel, Malakai, Brayden, and Carmelo.
Papo was predeceased by his son, Justin Gonzalez Sr., and his seven brothers.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. in Berks County Memorial Garden. If you would like to pay your respect the Kuhn Funeral Home and Crematory, 5153 Kutztown Rd. Temple PA 19560, will be having a drive up visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
