She graduated from Eaton Rapids High School class of 1961. Sonia worked for Owens Illinois in Charlotte until the early 1980’s and then went to work for Eaton Stamping in Eaton Rapids where she worked until the late 1990’s. Sonia attended the First Baptist Church in Eaton Rapids for many years. She was an avid Detroit Lions fan and enjoyed bowling and bowled on a league at Char Lanes in Charlotte for many years. Sonia especially loved Christmas and collecting Christmas items especially nutcrackers.
She is preceded in death by her father, Winnie Smith and brother, Fredrick “Clinton” Warfield # 20869204.
Surviving are her mother, Jackie Warfield; children, Kevin (Chris) Fenn, Angela Reynnet; grandchildren, Matthew Fenn, Elizabeth (Jordan) Duckett, Bradley June; sisters, Brenda Narezo, Terrie (Loren Worden) Prior, Renee Kirwin, Dianne (Bill Price) Wiser Price; brothers, David Warfield, Jerry Jack Warfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 24, 2020 at Bunker Cemetery in Eaton Rapids Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
