Martha Louise Newton, age 91, died on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

She was born in Giles County, TN, on November 30, 1928 to the late Elsie Lee and Ethel Wilburn Rogers. She retired from Fafnir, was a member of Elkton Baptist Church, and was member of Ardmore Citizens Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Newton.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Berryhill and husband David of Ardmore, TN, her brother, John Rogers and wife Jeanette of Columbia, TN, her grandchildren, Steven Berryhill and wife Lisa, and Sheryl Berryhill Lowe and husband Mike, 4 of her great grandchildren, and several of her great-great grandchildren

A private family visitation will be on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery.

The public is encouraged to observe the social distancing guidelines.
